| the weekend of March 24 & 25, which was entered by both of our club members Molly Forman with her beautiful girl Gracie von der Hemsbach, and Theresa Perry who came down from Michigan, and entered both her handsome male Cody, and darling female Lilli. Cody, registered name ” Nathan from the Lightning Showboy” won: 2 Best of Breed 2x’s Best Jr. Puppy in Breed 2x’s Group 2nd 2x’s Winners 4x’s Breed First (age) Lilli registered name, “Elisa von El Cassius Dio” accomplished the following: 2’s Breed Firsts 1x Winners 2x Best of Winners 2x’s Reserve Winners 3x’s Best of Opposite |
One of our members Carolyn Scott Arnold, had a wonderful
time showing her 2 beautiful Biewer girls, Honey and Flame
in the IABCA show in Albany, Oregon. Honey competed
against her sister, Flame, and beat her for Best of Breed in all
4 shows. Flame placed second in all 4 shows. Honey went
on to win a very nice first place in Toy Group in show 4.
Carolyn was so excited to go into BIS and BIS Rare Breed
with the girls. They both now have their National and
International Championships in Jugend Class.

| Christine and her husband Dave's Biewers, Snickers, Truffles and Cadbury earned their accomplishments in the puppy class. Dave was a big help to Christine and helped handle the dogs!. |

The first Biewer Breed Club International Specialty was a great success! It was held Friday, March 14th 2008 in Reading, PA in conjunction with the Pet Expo and was sponsored by the North American Kennel Club (NAKC) We are excited to say that Cadbury and his owner Christine Linnemeyer won the Best in Specialty Show and Best in Show for the 4th NAKC show!! Cadbury's wins 2 Best in Shows 3 Group First Place 2 Group 3rd place What an enchanted evening for the Biewer breed!!! Fun was had by all and the judges said that they had never seen such an assembly of so many "Biewers of Quality". We were so pleased to host this Biewer Specialty and have members from the BYTNC and BTCA attend as well as exhibitors that have no club affiliation whatsoever. Thanks to all who traveled great distances to support us including 2 spectators who flew in from Michigan just to watch, had no affiliation with the club but wanted to learn! We had over 33 Biewers in competition We were impressed by the professionalism and good sportsmanship shown by all participants. Our gratitude extends to those who represented other Biewer breed clubs and united with us for this event. We wish to thank everyone from the bottom of our hearts for making our first Specialty a huge success. The judges highly praised the Biewer's in attendance and thought they were 'stunning'. Two judges said they had never seen such a magnificent collection of Biewers in one show and praised the Champions and their exhibitors for their hard work. When the hundred's of pictures and information are compiled we will post them! We were ambassadors of the Biewer this weekend and thousands of people who never had the pleasure of seeing one before were introduced to this wonderful breed we love so much! It was simply an extra-ordinary weekend!! For now here's a few! |
